I'm enjoying working in black & white at the moment, learning lots about lines & textures.
I'm still swimming hard against the tide of work coming from the web development side of my business, but even managed to find a little time to try out some of the Responsive Design techniques advanced by Ethan Marcotte.
I'm impressed with the cleverness of the fluid grid & images systems, both intuitive and effective techniques. I was a bit obsessed with fluid designs way back in 2003/2005, but my interest wained with the advent of bowser zoom tools - this wonderful series of articles has rekindled that interest.

… also, meet BATTLE FLEA! He's essentially a bio-weapon mobile brain/command centre for the Einherjar. I suspect he smells a bit.
